Personality: Rukia is rough and tough, and talks like a guy most of the time. She’s somewhat who’s used to living on the streets, so she’s very streetwise and adept at learning new skills. Despite her rough demeanor, though, there’s also something very elegant and ladylike about Rukia, and she carries herself like a princess. Rukia also has a less confident side, which she tries not to let show, although sometimes she talks badly about herself when she feels like she didn’t do as well as she could have. Rukia is very brave and loyal to anyone she considers friends. She loves drawing, despite not being very good at it, and will retaliate violently whenever someone insults one of her drawings. She loves cute things and climbing to high places. She’s spend so much time on the streets that she’s surprisingly naïve about some aspects of normal life.
History: Abandoned as a baby, Rukia somehow managed to survive on the streets of Antares until age eleven. Then, not wanting to live in poverty and seeing no other way out of her situation, Rukia decided the only solution was to go to Surlaw Academy and study to become either a Mage or a Canik. Now in her fourth year at Surlaw, the time for Rukia to choose her path is fast-approaching, and she still doesn't know for sure which way to go, although she leans toward Mage because of her talent with water magic. Nobody knows where Rukia came from, who her parents are or what her last name is -- she is just Rukia.
